“AGRH!!!!”

Everyone looks up when a loud expiration groan was let out by the young 14 year old girl who came into the room.

Her black boots stomped against the tile floor as she marches up the table and slams down her Keyblade. “That’s it! I quit!”

“You can’t quit!” Mickey looks at her.

The 14 year old was about 5’2, long black hair with half of it pull up into a black barrette with bangs over her forehead. Her large angry gray eyes stare at the King. She was wearing a black sleeveless shirt with a green plaid, white, and gold halter top over it with a matching skirt with a black mesh peaking through at the bottom with tied up black boots that stop at her ankles.

Her ‘blade’ was key shape of course. It had a golden handle, much resembling a fancy key at a hotel with a large hunter green shield in the middle with a large gold fancy T inside of it. The rest of the key was pretty much gold with little odds and ends everywhere. Some parts sparkle, some had little prints of skateboards and scooters and some were just plain. The key chain on the end resemble the shield on the handle except for a skateboard charm, a sweat vest charm, a candy bar charm, and a rhinestone dog charm.

She crosses her arms with on her hands were fingerless black gloves with the same symbol stitch over the wrists.

“Danny, you can’t quit!” Mickey looks up at the young Keyblader. “Why should I? They are never coming to help! Don’t you understand? They don’t give a sh-

“Watch your language, young lady.” Queen Minnie interrupts her. “I’m sorry Your Majesty. I can’t take it anymore.” Danielle or Danny or Dani, whatever you want to call her, was beginning to feel hopeless.

“Don’t worry, they’ll come.”

“Can’t we just have Sora, Riku, and Kairi come and-

“No, they had their own adventure to deal with. This is your destiny.” Mickey hands her back the key.

“As well as ours,” Danny turns around to see the voice coming from a tall young man of six feet standing in the doorway. “Hey Hunter,” Danny sighs.

Hunter had short but shaggy black hair with dark eyes and tan skin with a white tank with a black and red vest over it with khaki pants and black shoes. He wore two belts that were loosen to hang over each hip in a crisscross fashion. One was white and black; the other was red with a wildcat belt buckle. He wore fingerless red and black gloves with a wildcat icon on each hand. His key was clip to his belt.

“Dani, Mickey is right. We have to wait them out because they WILL come, understood?” Hunter looks down at the younger Keyblader.

“Yes, sir,” Dani didn’t like taken orders from him. But she had no choice, he was the leader.

Dani takes her key and leaves the throne room. Hunter looks up the King and Queen. “Mickey, Minnie, when will they be here?”

Mickey sighs, “I don’t know. When Yen Sid decides.”

“Of course,” Hunter looks down at the ground. He sighs.

“What’s wrong?” Minnie looks at him. “I’m just worried. What if they can’t come?”

There was a moment of silence.

Mickey sadly responds, “Doesn’t matter. They have to. Their lives are at stake if they don’t.”

Hunter look hurt. He places a hand over his heart, his eyes filled with worry. Mickey notices. “It’s been hard for you, hasn’t it?”

“You don’t realize how painful it is when you have carried the burden of another, especially one of a heart.” Hunter closes his eyes for just seconds before bowing to the King and Queen. “I must head back to the training room. We need to head up on our exercises.”

“Just take it easy,” Minnie tells him.

Hunter looks at her with a small, sad smile, “We will.”

Minnie watches him go before turning to Mickey. She bursts out in tears, “Oh I can’t bear it anymore. I wonder what it must be like to be there when it actually happen. Those poor children. It’s not their fault, Mickey!”

Mickey comforts her, “I know Minnie; I know it wasn’t their fault. They tried their best to stop the attacks from coming. They truly did try.”

Minnie sniffles, “Yen Sid has to complete the spell in order for a portal to open up at California. We need those kids!”

“They must. They have an obligation to Disney. If they serve us in that world, then they surely serve us in this one.”

“Right now,” Mickey looks out the high window of the throne room to the night sky, “all we can do is pray.”

“Pray for a miracle.” Minnie says before her and Mickey head out of the throne room.

I heard your prays Mickey. Don’t worry. Those who have sacrificed themselves for the good of light will surely not go unnoticed.
